jewellery and sacred cloths jewellery and sacred cloths

The jewellery is assembled from artifacts collected during  travels in Indonesia, some of the silver pieces are made from beaten silver coins from the Dutch Colonial period in Timor. Each piece is a one off.

The sacred cloths are from Sumba, they are hand woven, and hand dyed using vegetable dyes, by the women of the villages. They are being sold as works of art. The cloths are used to wrap the body of the dead, the more important the person is, the more cloths are used.

Both jewellery and cloths are for sale, we will be having exhibitions here on the island in the studio from time to time, the first one being in November this year (2010) The items shown on the website are just a few of what we have, but because they have been hand picked and collected it is a limited range. You can contact us should  you have a query.

We have a limited range of both cloths and jewellery, as it is a private collection (what is shown here is however only a part of the collection).
