Mad Parrot Studio is a small studio showing the work of two artists, Jan Melville and David Wardman
the work of hand weavers from Sumba, and jewellery made from artifacts from Timor, Sumba, Borneo & Ubud
A list (with photographs) of jewellery and fabrics can be sent on request.
The studio is on Scotland Island one hour north of Sydney, Australia

Jan Melville
Etchings, small paintings, small assembled pieces from nature accompanied by etchings, and some ceramic figures incorporated with things from nature all to do with a very personal view of things, with stories embedded in the pieces.

Bali Niskala
These images are inspired by stone temple carvings . They depict figures from the myths and legends of the island of Bali.
Niskala is the powerful subterranean force of those things not seen, the spiritual rather than the material.
